We’re Connor and Emily Bates - the husband-and-wife team behind Bates Bookkeeping & Consulting, based in Happy Valley, Oregon. Together, we bring a balance of professional expertise and personal dedication to every client relationship.
Connor Bates, CPA, has more than 15 years’ combined experience in both public accounting and private industry. He helps small business owners understand their numbers, improve cash flow, and make confident financial decisions. Connor enjoys consulting with clients and solving financial puzzles. Emily is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor who brings precision and organization to the team for clean, accurate books. She ensures that every detail adds up and every report reflects a true financial picture.
Outside of work, we enjoy time with our two boys — cheering them on at soccer and baseball games or watching them perform their latest “ninja” moves. As a family-run business, we take pride in treating our clients’ books with the same care and attention we’d give our own.
